"Carpet Technicians does a great job and is always very reliable. I am the property manager for many homes that are being prepared for the market. I can count on Dave to be at the property when he says he will and to be honest about if the carpets can be cleaned or should be replaced. They stick to the quoted price unless something is unusual and then I get a call to discuss the issue. I use Carpet Technicians because they do they job and I don't have to think about it again. Fun Facts About Sumner

Sumner, Washington was settled in 1853 at the junction of the Puyallup River and the Stuck Creek (now known as the White River). With its fertile river valley, Sumner quickly became an agricultural community growing a variety of crops included daffodils, rhubarb, hops, berries, vegetables, and turf grasses.

In 1883, the town was platted on 160 acres owned by John Kincaid. It was the establishment of the Northern Pacific Railroad line through the Sumner area, and the construction of the depot, which led to the development of the community. With 127 registered voters, and a majority vote, the town of Sumner incorporated in 1891. By 1900, the population had exploded to 538 residents and the town extended to about 6 square miles, nearly its current size.

Today, agriculture remains important to the Sumner's economy, along with food manufacturing, wood product production, and warehousing and distribution. Sumner is also the self-proclaimed "Rhubarb Pie Capital"! Currently, Sumner ranks 81st in population among cities in Washington state, with nearly 9,500 residents in about 4,500 households. That's a lot of carpets to be cleaned!
